Ruuvi Cloud Terms of Service

In addition to the Ruuvi Innovations Oy (Ltd.) Terms of Service and Privacy Policy these additional provisions apply to Ruuvi Cloud service.

  • All Ruuvi Cloud plans are designed for non-critical uses only. Although we keep the services working as well as possible, 100% availability and data retention cannot be guaranteed.
  • Ruuvi Cloud Consumer plans are designed for private use only.
  • Reselling Ruuvi Cloud plans isn’t allowed.
  • Ruuvi reserves the right to change pricing and feature selection at any given time, in our sole discretion.
  • You agree not to violate any applicable law or regulation, including by stalking, harassing, or tracking others for unlawful or criminal purposes using the Ruuvi products or services.

LIMITATIONS OF THE SOFTWARE AND SERVICES:

The accuracy of the product data collected and presented through our Services, and the Software are not intended to match that of medical devices or scientific measurement devices. While we aim for the Services, and the Software to be highly reliable and available, we do not guarantee 100% availability of the time or data retention. Ruuvi Products and the Software are subject to sporadic interruptions and failures for a variety of reasons beyond our control, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, network intermittency, service provider uptime, mobile device providers and carriers, and other similar services. When using the services and products, You acknowledge these limitations and agree that we are not responsible for any damages allegedly caused by the failure or delay of the Services, and/or the Software. You acknowledge and agree that the Services, whether standing alone or when interfaced with third-party products or services are not intended or certified for emergency response or any similar services. We also do not make any warranty or representation that use of the Services, or the Software with any third-party product or service will result in any level of safety. We are not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, effectiveness, or correct use of Product Data and if you rely on that you do it on your sole risk.

Note! The Products, the Software, and the Services are not fault-tolerant or designed to be fault-tolerant. Ruuvi Products, Software, and the Services are not designed to be used in any situation where any failure, fault, interrupt of the Products, the Software, or the Services could lead to death or serious bodily injury of any person, or to severe damage to real or tangible personal property, or environmental damage (“ANY HIGH RISK USE"). You are not licensed to, and you agree not to, use the Products, the Software, or the Services in, or in conjunction with any High Risk Use. All High Risk Use is strictly prohibited. High Risk Use includes but not limited for example, the following: aircraft navigation or control, autonomous driving, control of other modes of mass transportation, nuclear or chemical facilities, medical, safety or emergency services.

NECESSARY EQUIPMENT

Use of the Ruuvi products is dependent upon your use of a supported mobile device and Internet access. All costs including maintenance and security associated with the additional products and services are in your sole responsibility. The maintenance and security of these equipment may influence the performance of the products and services provided by Ruuvi Innovations Oy (Ltd.)

ALERTS AND NOTIFICATIONS

As part of the Services, you may receive push notifications, alerts, emails, or other types of messages sent to you within or outside the mobile application ("Push Messages") and and Ruuvi Station web interface. We are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier interruptions, delays errors or delays in email services, delays in push messaging services, or your failure to update your contact information. Please be aware that messaging fees may apply depending on the message plan you have with your wireless carrier.

You may control over the Push Messages settings, and can opt in or out of these Push Messages (with the possible exception of infrequent, important service announcements and administrative messages) through the mobile application or otherwise through your mobile device. Pleasenote aware that third party messaging fees may occur for Push Messages depending on the message plan you have with your wireless carrier.

CUSTOMER CONTENT ADDED TO THE SERVICE

You are solely responsible for the content, such as any text, images, and other material and information, that you upload or post on or through our Services, and its legality, reliability, and appropriateness. You should only upload and add content that you create or have the right to use and publish. By uploading or posting your Customer Content you give us the right and license to store, reproduce, modify, transfer, transmit, and use your Customer Content in connection with providing the Services to you.

CUSTOMER CONTENT ENFORCEMENT POLICY:

We reserve the right to review any or all portions of customer content and delete (or modify) any of customer content from the Services for any reason, including if we believe, in our sole judgment, your customer content violates these Terms, or threatens the safety of, or harms any other person, or creates liability for us or any other person. We also reserve the right (but have no obligation) to take appropriate action if you violate any provision of these Terms, and suspend or terminate your account and access to our services.
